Hi all,
My dashboard item "profit and loss" was changed to "profitability" which doesn't work for me. How do I get the "profit and loss" tab back on there?
Thank you
Hi there, iskondesign.
Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to retrieve the Profit and Loss feature on the dashboard. It could be that this is a browser error since you're able to match and reconcile them.
You'll want to use an incognito window and check the dashboard from there. Incognito won't save your browsing history which can result in an error. These are some of the shortcut keys:
Also, you'll want to clear the cache and make sure you're using a supported and up-to-date browser. This can help in fixing any browser-related issues.
After performing the troubleshooting above, you can log into your QuickBooks account and check again the Profit and Loss feature. If it's still showing as "Profitability", please attach a screenshot of the page. That way, I can visually check how the entire page looks on your end.
I'm adding this article to take you through the dashboard's key features: How QuickBooks Online dashboards can help you visualize data, KPIs, and key metrics at a glance.
You may also use the Audit log feature to see if there were changes made on the dashboard. It records all account activity such as user sign-ins, and changes to QuickBooks settings.
I'll keep this post while waiting for your response. Take care always!
Hi there, thank you for reply.
Logging in via private Firefox window is still the same, profitability tab instead of "profit and loss".
I prefer not so share my financial info publicly, even redacted.
If there is anything else you'd like to suggest, let me know.
Thank you!

This way, they can assign someone to check and investigate your account to find out why your dashboard shows you Profitability instead of Profit and loss. I'll gladly input the steps below so you can proceed. To begin, here's how:
