QuickBooks automated sales tax only applies to invoices or sales receipts. Although, the option to calculate sales tax using deposits is unavailable in the system.

Unfortunately, our business doesn't generate invoices for our transactions. We are a business that accepts admission into our facility. When I deposit the admissions for the day it would have been nice for QB to calculate the sales tax due on those receipts. Please QB, consider helping the non-invoice businesses.
