Does anyone else have issues adding attachments to an invoice through the mobile app? It takes about 10 tries before it will actually add the attachment.

Does anyone else have issues adding attachments to an invoice through the mobile app? It takes about 10 tries before it will actually add the attachment.

We haven’t received any reports of issues with adding attachments to invoices through the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app, aop.


Since you’re experiencing difficulties adding attachments to your invoice, here are some solutions you can perform:

 

  1. Check your internet connection before attempting to add attachments. You need a stable connection to expedite the process.
  2. Update the app. Developers often release updates to fix bugs and improve performance. Make sure you have the latest version of the QBO mobile app installed on your device.
  3. Clear your app cache. On most mobile devices, you can do this by going to the app settings or application manager, finding the app, and selecting the option to Clear cache.
  4. Restart your device. Sometimes, simply refreshing your gadget can resolve temporary glitches or conflicts that affect the app's functionality.


If the issue persists, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the QBO mobile app. This can help fix any potential concerns with the installation.

I have done all of the above. This has been an issue for over a year, for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure why it is so finicky

As my colleague stated above, there's no existing investigation into this issue. With that in mind, I recommend contacting live support. They'll be able to review your account and look for the root cause of the issue. Furthermore, they can also create an investigation into this if they find out that this is occurring to more users.

  1. On the upper right corner, click the question mark (?) icon.
  2. Choose Help and Support.
  3. Click Contact Us below.
  4. Type in a brief description of your concern. Then, Continue.
