We don’t want you and your client to experience this inconvenienced, @ascivica.

We have a new investigation into some issues with invoices INV-39653. Our Product Engineers are currently working on releasing a permanent resolution to this on-going issue.

As of now, you can let your customers see the whole invoice details in an Adobe reader.

Also, I recommend contacting our Phone Support Team so you’ll be added on the affected list. They will send you an email regarding the status of the investigation.

Here’s how.

  1. Click the Help Button.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter brief information on your concern.
  4. Select Get a call.
  5. Fill in the necessary fields.
  6. Click Confirm my call.

You can also use this article if you need some steps or procedures while using QuickBooks Online. Help article.

Please feel free to fill me in if you have any other questions. Have a nice day!

Helping you is our top priority, @ddr_MIA.

Currently, there's is an investigation about sending invoices to the customers. Rest assured, our product engineers prioritize this concern and are working tirelessly to resolve it as soon as possible.

With this, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team since they can add you to the list of affected users. Once added to the list, you will receive email updates as soon as they already resolved the issue.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Assistant icon at the top.
  2. Click I need help link.
  3. Choose Not helpful, then tap Talk to a human.
  4. Hit Still needs to talk a human link.
  5. Choose either Message an agent or Get a callback

To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays.

But our engineer's provided a workaround to manually download the invoice and send it to your client outside QBO.

Also, know that you can always visit our help articles page for QuickBooks Online. This page contains a lot of topics about how to manage payments, sales transactions, customize sales forms, and other related topics.

Do let me know if you have any further questions. I'm always here ready to help.

How do I get a call back from someone who is actually qualified and not reading from a script if my product is QB Desktop Premier 2019. This problem has been going on for 2 years and I've dealt with numerous people who really had no idea what they were doing. Wasted HOURS!!!!!

I have a solution for this, ddr_MIA.

We didn't receive a report about customers not being able to view invoice details in QuickBooks Desktop. You can update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release to prevent any issues. You can also use the verify and rebuild tool to fix any data issues.

However, if you still want to get a callback from our support team, you can follow these steps to contact them.

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start messaging with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from an expert (availability may be limited).

For your future reference, please read these help articles if you have questions about QuickBooks.

Feel free to let us know if you have questions about viewing your invoices. Don't forget, we're always here to help you if you have any further concerns.

We understand that encountering errors within a program can be time-consuming, jendelyth.

May I know what QuickBooks product you're currently utilizing? If you have QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) or QuickBooks Online (QBO), we recommend performing basic troubleshooting procedures to isolate the issue. Sometimes, the program may behave oddly when the browser has outdated pages, which can become corrupted and lead to problems, such as the inability to see invoice details.

To start, sign in to QBSE or QBO and access the customer's invoice details in a private window using the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

If successful, switch back to your regular browser and clear the cache to start afresh. Alternatively, try using other supported browsers, as the one you are using now may have a temporary issue with QBSE.

However, if you have QuickBooks Desktop, let's use the verify and rebuild tool to find and fix the most common issues in a company file.

If the issue persists after your troubleshooting efforts, it would be best to reach out to our Live Support Team. They have the necessary tools to review your account and investigate the underlying cause of the error.

As a workaround, you can print or convert your invoices to PDF for tracking purposes.

Good luck. I dealt with that problem for literally years. I only had one computer that would work for sending the invoices and have the invoice show. Frustrating. And don't bother calling the helpline. Incompetent and time wasting. Can't tell you how many times I called. Same song and dance each time. No solution. Just lies and more lies. Too bad there isn't a better option. I'd change in a heartbeat.
