On the other hand, you can add a new category if you'd want to put a salary or other expenses to track them easily. Here's how you create one directly in the Expense transaction:

1. Click the +New button and select Expense.
2. In the Category column dropdown menu, tap the + Add new category.
3. From the Account window, choose the Account Type and its Detail Type.
4. Enter a Name for the new account. Optionally, you may include a brief description or pick the Parent account if this is a sub-account.
5. Press the Save and Close button.
