Downloading bank feed from before purchase of 2022

We purchased QB 2022 in June. I'm showing a huge deficit in our account because the past biller only entered payments into QB before were started syncing to our bank. Now that I'm handling it, I'm wanting everything to match with our bank info. How do I download information from before we purchased the new program?

Downloading bank feed from before purchase of 2022

Hi andersenchirolehi,

Some banks let you download the transactions for the past 30, 60, 90 days, or more. If the specified days have passed, you can manually import the transactions. I'm here to walk you through the steps.

Before importing, you can ask your financial institution for a .QBO file of your transactions. Then, you're good to import them.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Bank Feeds and then Import Web Connect Files.
  3. Select the .QBO file you saved, then select Open.
  4. Select a bank account.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Select OK.
  7. Go to the Bank Feeds Center to review your transactions.

From there, you can match the transactions. I've added this reference as your guide: Add and match bank transactions.

You can always get back to me whenever you have concerns matching the transactions. I'm here to help you out.
