Enterprise Desktop 23 - any updated features?

We renewed our license for QB Enterprise 22, but have not downloaded the 23 updates yet. I have read that the cash flow projector tool is not longer available on 23. Can anyone verify if this is correct, and is there some guide that shows what other features were added or removed from 23?

Enterprise Desktop 23 - any updated features?

Thanks for reaching us here, Janetccc. I'll share insights to ensure you're on the latest updates of the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2023 version.

With the latest and added features of QBDT 2023, several updates were improved to help users automate and streamline their daily accounting tasks.

Yes, the cash flow projector tool was discontinued for QuickBooks Desktop 2022. However, you can still use this feature if you have a prior version of the latest or currently supported version.

With this, Cash Flow Hub on the 2023 desktop version is included to help you maintain and improve your cash flows. Also, all Cash Flow Hub accounts come with direct connect banks, which allows you to track balances from numerous banks in one place.

Enterprise Desktop 23 - any updated features?

Let me get this straight.  I was just told I had to update to the 2023 version of desktop enterprise, which I did.  The option for "Cash Flow Hub" appeared on the menu strip.  I click it and even though I'm an active user and an administrator with all permissions, I get a message that says "looks like you don't have the required permission to complete the request.  Only the primary admin or secondary admin can perform this action"  I am the admin.  I have spent hours trying to figure out how to make this work and now I see a post that says this is discontinued.  Please verify if this is discontinued and if so why is it still on my menu?

I have 2023 version and I cannot use the cash flow hub.  I get a message saying it looks like I don't have the required permission to complete the request.  Problem is, I do have the permissions so what now?

Enterprise Desktop 23 - any updated features?

I know how to let you access the Cash Flow Hub feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Carolexx.

Cash Flow Hub is a new feature in all versions of QuickBooks 2023 Desktop within the US as of its initial (R1) release. That means you will see it included with Pro Plus, Premier Plus, all releases of Enterprise 2023, and all versions of QuickBooks Accountant.

As the Admin user, you'll be prompted to log into the Intuit account associated after selecting the Cash Flow Hub from the Company menu. See the attached screenshot below for your visual reference.

By default, QuickBooks will pre-fill the email address of the Primary Admin of the associated Intuit account. If you aren't prompted with the Cash Flow Hub window, I suggest creating an Intuit account.

Please browse these articles to learn the importance of having an Intuit account and how to set it up.

Once you have an Intuit account, you can start setting up and tracking cash flows in QBDT.
