Error when creating customer statements

I called quickbooks and spoke with Amy which was a total waste of time.  She said I have to print each statement individually.  I told her I have been with Quickbooks since 2006 and the last 2-3 months is the only time i have had problems printing statements.  She didn't care and when I asked to speak to tier 2 she said "no"

Total waste of time.  Ridiculous.

Error when creating customer statements

I called as you suggested and that was a total waste of time.  Amy, from Quickbooks, told me to print each statement individually.  I laughed at her.  When I asked to speak to tier 2, she told me no.  I have been with Quickbooks for almost 20 years and this is not acceptable.  They need to let us go back to a previous subscription that actually works.

Error when creating customer statements

Your feelings are valid, emh59. I recognize your concern and see the importance of having an easy way to select customers when printing their statements in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

I value your time contacting our support team and following the suggested troubleshooting steps in the thread. As much as I want to help you investigate the root cause of this issue, I have limited access to the necessary tools within the Community.

To ensure you get the most accurate and effective resolution, I'd recommend contacting our live support team again for further assistance. They have the necessary tools to check your account securely and look deeply into this issue. They can also create a ticket for investigation if needed.

Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Open your QB account.
  2. Click Help and choose QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Tap the Contact Us button.
  4. Enter your concern/issue, then hit Continue.
  5. Sign in to your Intuit account and select Continue. Then, Continue With My Account, and an email containing a single-use code will be sent to you.
  6. Enter the code and click on Continue.
  7. Choose to Chat With Us or Have Us Call You.

Please check out this article for QuickBooks support hours:  Contact QuickBooks Desktop Support. In the meantime, you can manually select each customer and not the All customers to create statements.

Additionally, check out this article about sending statements to customers in QBDT: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Desktop.

I've also added this article for future guidance in entering charges directly into the customer’s register: Create statement charges.

This thread is always open, and you can always stick around if you have further concerns when creating customer statements in QBDT. Just post here again, and I'll help you out.

Error when creating customer statements

I spent a LONG time on the phone with a lady who was very nice, but also didn't understand why the programming had been changed. Every time I run Statements,  I send messages to the help. This really shouldn't be that hard to put back like it was in the older versions. Nobody is actually DOING ANYTHING to fix the problem! You just keep telling us to do them manually. Thanks for making our work load so much heavier.

Error when creating customer statements

Can you please send this issue to whatever department can request or work on a fix for this problem.  So many of us are frustrated and it seems that nobody from QB who replies to these comments understands the problem.  Printing statements has never been an issue for us until we had to do the last mandatory upgrade.  Something in that upgrade changed and it needs to be corrected.
