Can someone tell me how to print a report that shows the closing dates for estimates?
Help has arrived, @Mari2024.
I can help you print reports with estimates in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
For modifying the Estimates by Customer report in QBDT, we only have the Date, Ship date, Delivery Date, and Due date for the display columns. Thus, we're unable to filter and print the report with closed dates.
I recognize that this benefits you and your business. I suggest sending this suggestion to our Product Development Team. They can review this feedback and might add it to future updates. The more requests this gets, the more likely it is to be part of the enhancements.
To do so, you can follow the steps below. Here's how:

Non-posting transactions can obviously be included on reports, so I don't know what @Carneil_C is talking about.
What is an Estimate "closing date"? I searched for awhile and don't see any field with that name...
I have asked the question incorrectly. On the job info tab there is job status, start date, projected end date and end date. That end date is what i would like to see on a report. I apologize for the confusion.

Thanks for the reply on the thread, Mari2024.
I know how important it is to add these features to QuickBooks Desktop. However, the option to display the end date on the report isn’t available in QuickBooks Desktop. You might need to review each job individually to indicate the end date. I know this can be time-consuming, but it will ensure your records are accurate.
To accomplish your objective, you can export two reports to Excel and subsequently consolidate the data utilizing formulas, typically on a third worksheet within a workbook.
I will include this article so that you can learn how to customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the the job status and job dates can be included on transaction based reports. They can be included on the names list reports, like the customer contact or phone list reports. So, one way you could get what you want is to send two reports to Excel and somehow combine the data with formulas, probably on a third worksheet in a workbook.
Another would be a custom reporting solution, possibly also in Excel or as an application, to pull the data together automatically. This is something we can do for our customers. If interested, put in a request here: BRC Support Request
I was able to find a job status report that shows the job status, start date, projected end date and the end date. Now trying to see if I can find a way to narrow it down by year
Sounds good. I looked and don't see a Job report that has those fields. What is the report called on the Reports menu?
It is under Reports, Contractor Reports then Job Status.
Oh, I see. I didn't have the Contractor version of QuickBooks running.
I switched to it and see the report now. The Job Status appears to be a renamed Customer list report, with different default columns selected.
