Help has arrived, @Mari2024.

I can help you print reports with estimates in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

For modifying the Estimates by Customer report in QBDT, we only have the Date, Ship date, Delivery Date, and Due date for the display columns. Thus, we're unable to filter and print the report with closed dates.

I recognize that this benefits you and your business. I suggest sending this suggestion to our Product Development Team. They can review this feedback and might add it to future updates. The more requests this gets, the more likely it is to be part of the enhancements.

To do so, you can follow the steps below. Here's how:

  1. From the top menu bar, choose Send Feedback Online.
  2. Tick on Product Suggestion.
  3. Click on the drop-down for Type of Feedback and select Product Suggestion.
  4. Select the Product Area, then enter your thoughts and suggestions.
  5. Once done, select Send Feedback.

In addition, you can find out more about personalizing reports according to your needs by checking out this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

The Community space is still open for you. So, if you have questions about estimates or any QBDT tasks, let us know, and we'll be here to help. Take care always.

Non-posting transactions can obviously be included on reports, so I don't know what @Carneil_C  is talking about.

What is an Estimate "closing date"? I searched for awhile and don't see any field with that name...

I have asked the question incorrectly. On the job info tab there is job status, start date, projected end date and end date. That end date is what i would like to see on a report. I apologize for the confusion.

Sounds good. I looked and don't see a Job report that has those fields. What is the report called on the Reports menu?

It is under Reports, Contractor Reports then Job Status.
