This is QuickBooks Self-Employed. The bank account has been permanently closed and I cannot authenticate with the bank. QuickBooks is repeatedly requiring me to reconnect. I need the bank-feed connection disabled/removed without deleting the existing categorized transactions or historical transaction data.

App will not open anymore. Splash screen says “App is not available in my region”. Insane. I’m located in the US. Did they disable the mobile app and call it something else? Need to track mileage. I had all my accounts connected. The app just will not open. My accountant can’t connect anymore. Tried to delete and reinstall. Still says “App not available “.

what do I do if entire months are missing from my reports

Running Desktop Pro 2016 on Windows 11 on an Acer E15 Laptop.  One day it was working fine the next day it wouldn’t open.  The welcome screen opens and then closes without launching the program.  I’ve re-installed, change compatibility mode, ran QB Tool hub, repaired the program, and contacted QB Tech Support (they would not help me to troubleshoot the problem).  I also uninstalled several windows updates that occurred right around when QB stop working. The company file opens on another computer.  Is there a fix?????

Monthly "recurring payments" created for several customers are not getting created on the Quickbooks side.  It worked the first month but not the following two.  The payments ARE being taken in Intuit Merchant Services center and deposited in our bank--but Quickbooks Online Advanced is not creating the invoice the payments are to apply to (other than the first month/occurrence), and so the payments don't sync over to our books from Intuit Merchant Services, which causes the deposit containing those payments to not sync into our books, and I have to manually enter them all.  Anyone else experiencing this? (note these are recurring PAYMENTS, not recurring Transactions.  Those seem to be working.)

I have QB Desktop Pro. I have tried using the Intuit Data Protect to restore my cloud back up to a new hard drive on my PC. I am logged in and it recognizes that a good back up was completed on 9/10/2026. However, it tries to look on my PC for back ups and only finds older back ups that are not relevant. I am unable to find a way for IDP to find the cloud backup it clearly says is good but doesnt give me access. How do I get access with IDP to my cloud back up?I am unable to find any phone support phone number.John

Quickbooks 2019 will not launch.  I have downloaded again 

This morning I discovered that I couldn't initiate an instant transfer to a card from my QuickBooks Checking account, even though I've been using it for several months. Some other businesses are also experiencing problems similar to what I encountered this morning.

It shows I have a money to deposit from 4 months ago. But it has already been cleared in the statement.

The chat states that they're online until 10.00PM Monday to Saturday, although it only says "M-S" so not sure if it includes Sunday, not too clear. But its 18.00hrs (UK) and no option to chat for some reason. We phone them and they say our "accounts manager" will get in touch and never does. Is anyone else frustrated with their customer service? The only time we get a good service is when they call us to upsell their products. Think we'll stop the direct debit and see if they get in touch then.

Hi, I noticed that I was charged for my QuickBooks Online subscription today after my free trial ended. I was not expecting the charge and I do not wish to continue with the paid subscription.I have canceled the subscription and would like to request a refund for the charge made today. Since the charge was just made today, I would really appreciate it if you could make a one-time exception and refund the amount.

In the P&L , QB is showing the currency exchange gain /loss, but this figures is not the same that a revaluation figure. Why do we need to reevaluate at year end when QB translate the euros to sterling conversion on the daily basis ? As it stands, we have just changed accountant who is now telling us that we have a massive discrepancy due to the fact that the previous accountant took the figures showing in QB as supposed to running the revaluation tool at year end . I am at lost here ! Thanks for clarifying.

Seeking some way to import an estimate -- typically an Excel or comma-delimited file -- directly into QB (preferably Online) such that it is recognized as an estimate (whether mapped manually or automatically). Based on cursory web searches and perusing this forum, it appears that the only way to import anything -- estimate or otherwise -- into the transactions database is as an .iif.Further, based on the existence of many plugins that claim to offer interoperability with Excel, my current best guess is that such a transmittal would entail a somewhat involved conversion process. Seeking confirmation or advice either way. Two weeks ago, my customers started receiving emails after they open an invoice reminding them that they did not pay.  I contacted Quickbooks, and as usual they were first completely confused by a feature in their own software and took them a week to get back to me.  When they did, they stated this is a new feature and there is no option to turn it on or off.  Does anyone know if there is a way to turn these emails off?  Or is there a way to edit these emails as they are completely unprofessional?This is not a reminder email.  I have those set and have zero issues.  This is appears to be a new feature rolled out with the typical zero thought Quickbooks gives to features.

In QB starter or basic, I’m now seeing “Classes” tags and a “Location” field.  At first I thought I had selected “Bill” instead of “Expense!”   More pointless, annoying “features” to keep the developers busy at Intuit, I see.  We have a very small business using Cash basis accounting.   Remember a couple of years ago when QB pushed TAGS on us?  Then once you started using them, they took the “feature” away and were on to some other new shiny object.  Can’t even run reports based on tags anymore either.  Ridiculous.  I’ve gone to Settings-->Advanced and there is no ability to turn Classes nor Location off in Expenses that I can see.

99% of my work is 7day payment terms. Whenever I create an invoice, the lowest option I’m given is 14days. So I have to set a custom date every time. This is really time consuming when I’m creating lots of invoices. How do I set 7day terms as my default?

We build estimates with detailed and long line item descriptions which provides clarity to our customers about what specific work will be done. For example we will add a line on the estimate with a full paragraph describing services, but put the rate as $0.00. When we turn the estimates into invoices and click “print” or e-mail the invoice, all of the descriptions are completely erased. Since this new update, we have had to take extra time adding back these descriptions making it super tedious.Why has this been happening and is there a solution?
