Hi all, Since 5 November 2026, the invoice editor in QuickBooks Self-Employed (UK) has stopped calculating line amounts from hours. Has anyone else seen this? What's happening:- Each line shows hours x rate, e.g. "0 hrs x £13.00", but the Amount still shows the full £13.00- The invoice total adds up every line, even where the hours are 0- It happens on new invoices, duplicated invoices and existing invoices opened for editing- Payment reminders are affected too- Viewing an old saved invoice without editing shows the correct amounts What I've tried (no change):- Edge and Chrome, including a private/incognito window- Windows and browser updates- Clearing the cache- The same fault shows on my PC and in Chrome on my phone The Android app has also been white-screening on and off since the same day, even after reinstalling. This has worked fine for years, so something seems to have changed. I'm working around it by manually setting each 0-hour line's amount to £0.00, which takes ages with lo

Does Intuit permit Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or AI agents to interact with the QuickBooks Online browser interface to perform bookkeeping tasks? Specifically, would automated interaction with the Bank Transactions section, including Match, Categorise and Post, be permitted under the QuickBooks Online Accountant licence? Would such automation require a separate user account, additional licence or specific written authorisation from Intuit? Are there restrictions on using automated processes across multiple client companies managed through QuickBooks Online Accountant? Are there any approved APIs, integration programmes or alternative methods for automating bank transaction matching and categorisation? Would there be any licensing concerns if an AI system analysed transaction information and instructed an RPA tool to execute the relevant actions? Could you provide the relevant licensing provisions or official documentation confirming which automation methods are permitted?

On Transactions page I changed to just Business transactions on my business account YTD. The total income is about $1000 less than on the P&L report

I signed into QuickBooks to add recent invoices. My logo is not present; it's offering me a subscribe button and saying I have 25 trial days left.

There is no way to download all the invoices I have issued from the Invoices view.

NYS-1 rejected for tax period begin date invalid.  I don't see where to enter a begin date on the NYS-1 only a payroll end date.

I scan the receipts and then upload them. Most have worked fine, but several have gone into pending status recently and have not been categorized.

I have no current or past transactions so it looks like I have nothing for the year.

The tab that shows that the invoices are viewed/how many times viewed and a time stamp of when viewed... is that showing only when the customer clicks and views the invoice or is it also showing when I have viewed the invoice through quickbooks?

when i press record payment on an invoice, nothing happens. how do i fix this?

I run a small business where I travel and incur expenses. I have been using Quickbooks online for almost four years. I used to love the auto-matching function of uploaded receipts which did not require any steps it just found the right transaction and matched it. Then in the bank transactions you could add the tax, assign the expense to a customer etc. This stopped working about 1.5 years ago.My workflow until about a week ago was to upload receipts the same way then review the receipt, add the account - which is always the same one - and add a tax code. The save and close the receipt, without creating an expense. Auto-match then worked 80% of the time, not as good as 3 years ago but at least it worked. Now, in the receipts, you cannot do this. You have to create an expense, which may or may not match. This is a massive waste of time compared to the system 3 years ago. If the not-very-auto-match doesn’t work, you have to go through the same effort to add the client, tax code, account, e

I rearranged by bank accounts on the home page and yet it keeps defaulting back to the original order. If I refresh, my order shows up however defaults back to the standard order. Please advise as to how to lock in the preferred order of the bank account son the home page.

I want to be nice, but whoever thought that is a good idea is not very smart. So now not only do I have to include directions to find the nondescript link to the printable invoice when I send notice via e-mail, I have to include a note on invoices I print and mail explaining that I know you can’t click a “link” on a piece of paper and QuickBooks doesn’t let me remove it.This used to be possible, but now looks like it cannot be. Is it just me?

We have been experiencing changes to COGS in closed financial periods. Is there any way to stop this from happening? I have tried to get Intuit to add a hard stop for closed financial periods and include any changes/adjustments in the current period. I know others have experienced this before; how do we stop these changes?
