Every time an employee from "non-intuit" responds to this thread, it's never to fix the issue or to address it or log a bug report.  The non-intuit employee always tries to deflect criticism and act like they will fix it if you call them; all the while ignoring simple facts like this bug has been logged for years.

When you call customer support, you get a script reader that makes you run through their script of actions for about 1 hour until they say it's not a problem with the software.  When you ask to escalate the issue, they refuse to get a supervisor.  They appear not to have the ability, or are unwilling to log bug reports.

Customer support at non-intuit is horrible and never fixes anything bug related and wastes lots of customer time.

End result is the same as it's been for several years:

1. This bug doesn't get fix.

2. Any response from non-intuit employees deflects blame for not addressing the issue and refers anyone to call customer service to have more time wasted by all these customers.

3. We the people, get no attention from anyone is authority to fix the problem (at non-intuit again).

4. It's always the customer's fault.

Jan 19, 2023 I have now spent a total of 4.5 hours on this problem and another 4 hours in December.   The yahoo feature was working, and now its not.   Quickbooks only solution was to switch to my gmail account, except I have used the yahoo account since 2007!! Surely for what quickbooks is charging monthly for your software (mine is desktop) you would be able to better find a solution for something that I believe would be simpler than this.  Really annoyed right now with quickbooks, and feel I spend a lot of money for support that cannot figure this out.

Mark-That's COUNTERintuit, not Nonintuit Counterintuit doesn't care about it's customers. It has a monopoly on the accounting software market for small business so they know you don't have any choice but to use their garbage. I have been unfortunately using Counterintuit's garbage software for over 20 years and the only thing that happened in that time is that they have made the product worse and took away functionality it used to have. They have never fixed or improved anything. They have only ruined anything that used to be good and took away what used to be free. You can't even pay for some features that used to be, they just deleted them. And they never fix anything. Not sure why they ask for feedback, they never listen. IT'S LIKE THE GOVERNMENT TELLING YOU TO VOTE-YEAH SURE YOUR VOTE COUNTS! HAHAHA

Your version is outdated and they may be blocking the service on purpose. Try removing and re-adding your email address. Alternatively, use the trial version of QB Desktop 2022 to isolate the problem.
