Export company names where the AR just hit a specific age

We are trying to produce a piece of automation in another internal system. What we need from QB is a daily list of company names who have AR that just hit a specific age today (say 30 days). If it could also give me the amount of that AR that would be helpful but not required. I need to dump the list to some kind of simple export - text, excel, etc.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Your successful export is my priority, ETPinecone. I'll provide valuable tips on how to achieve your goal.

You can do a manual pulling up an A/R Aging Summary report and customize the terms to any number of days you want. Let me walk you through the process.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Customers & Receivables.
  3. Choose A/R Aging Summary report.

  4. Click Customize Report, then select the Filters tab.
  5. In the search tab, enter and click Terms.
  6. Hit the dropdown arrow and choose your number of days.
  7. Once done, click OK.

Additionally, another way to automatically generate this report is to use the memorize reports feature of QuickBooks.

Moreover, for detailed steps in exporting this report, you can visit this article: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.

Not sure if I understand you correctly.  If you are wanting a Excel report of customer names and balances aging at 30 days.  I would use the AR Summary report and then customize it by aging  =  to 30,  then export it to Excel.  This can be done by going to Reports, Customer &Receivables,  A/R Aging summary, Then in the top right corner,  Customize, Filter tab,  Aging, select  =  then enter in 30  and hit okay.  Once this populates, you can send to Excel.
