Finding total transactions

Hello there, @schmidtfs.

Yes, there are places within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account where you can see how many transactions you have in a given period. Let's visit the Transactions or Reports menu to do this, and I'm here to guide you on how.

QuickBooks make sure you can monitor your transactions through the built-in features in your account. To find your last month's total transactions, you can go to the Transactions menu and filter your sales and expenses or run and customize a report, like the Transaction List by Date report.

If you choose to go to the Transactions menu, select the All Sales or Expenses tab. From there, click the Filter option to narrow your search (set Date to Last month). Then, see the number of rows you have to know how many transactions you have. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.

If you want to run and customize a report (Transaction List by Date) to see how many transactions you have from last month, let's go to the Reports menu. Here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview, then select Reports, or go to Reports.
  2. Use the Find report by name search bar to search for the Transaction List by Date report.
  3. Select the report to open.
  4. Click the Customize button to set the Date to Last month and focus on the details that matter to you the most.

From there, manually count the number of transactions you have for the last month or export the report to Excel to get the data you need.

Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference to guide you on managing your business's growth and transactions in QBO: QuickBooks Learn and Support. It includes help articles, Community discussions with other users, and video tutorials, to name a few.

Let me know if you have other reporting concerns or questions about managing transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @schmidtfs.
