Form 1096 from Intuit Online Payroll

Unfortunately, we're unable to generate a Form 1096 for the 1099-NEC forms you've e-filed since Intuit Online Payroll doesn't support this tax form. As a workaround, you'll want to consider visiting the IRS website to get a copy of Form 1096.

Then, you can log in to your 1099 E-File Service account to view your electronically filed 1099s. This will your reference in filling out your 1096. I'll show you how:

1. Sign in to your E-File service account. 
2. Click View past forms.
3. Download or print the form.

Once done, manually mail this form along with your 1099-NEC to the state of California to ensure compliance.
