GM, I would like to know if there’s an option to add more service lines beside Product or Service. For example, Sales, Consultant or Management fee.

Hi there, Pleung3.

If you're referring to creating a new column beside the Product/Service column in QuickBooks, it wouldn't be possible by default. However, we can add new line items in the Product or service section as a workaround. Once added, we can then enter specific transactions on each service date. I'd gladly guide you through adding line items and the steps.

Here are the detailed steps for adding line items when creating an invoice:

  1. Click the +New button and choose Invoice.
  2. Scroll down to the Product or Service section.
  3. Click the dotted icon beside the number column.
  4. When the blue plus icon appears, click it.
  5. Select Save and Close.

GM,

thanks for the follow up email. I was struggling when I was following the first email instructions. Although it was the same steps but the whole time I was using the app version when navigating my way but couldn’t find the dot dot dot mentioned. Later I tried to log in from my phone’s internet and noticed I had different options. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to continue but I will definitely spend some more time today. The screenshot you attached definitely helps a lot! Thanks again.
