Has sub-customer dropdown stopped working? Have always used sub-customers and drop down does not work now.

I've tried the steps to create a sub-customer in my QBO test company and I can successfully use the Enter parent customer drop-down arrow. This may be a browser-related issue. To fix this, let's access your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. This will prevents storing cache and cookies that might cause problems when running Intuit sites.

To open a private window, please follow the keyboard shortcuts below:

• Google Chrome: Hold Ctrl + Shift + N 
• Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
• Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox: Hit Ctrl + Shift + P 

Once signed in, go to the Customers menu to create a sub-customer. Here's how:

1. Click the Customers menu.
2. Select the New customer button.
3. Enter the necessary info such as the name, email, billing address, etc.
4. Tick the Is sub-customer box.
5. Then, click the drop-down arrow to choose the parent customer (If the parent customer has not yet been added, add the information for the parent customer by doing the steps 1-3 and 6).
6. Hit Save to confirm the action. 

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. This will refresh the background processes of your browser to prevent problems when accessing websites.

If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different browser. It could be that the one you're currently using has a temporary issue with QuickBooks. Using a different updated browser in the meantime will allow you to create a sub-customer.

Thanks.  Not using browser, using app.  But anyway, it has mystreriously started working again.  Not sure what triggered it to work as I had been in and our of app multiple times.
