Help! I cannot access my sales receipts from two years ago. (QBO)

Hey, I am trying to run reports on QuickBooks Online for my sales across the past couple years, however, I am unable to do this because the furthest my sales receipts go is February 2021. Before February 16th, 2021 has vanished. The sales from the business started on 01/08/20, yet there are no sale receipts that I definitely remember putting in QuickBooks from 01/08/20 to 02/15/21. I tried to look at the Audit Log and that only goes back to December 2020. Why has this happened and what can I do to view my past sales receipts?

Welcome to the Community, @Hunter0108. Let me share the steps to run a sales report that will show you Sales Receipts beyond the previous two years.

You can run a sales report and set the date range into All Dates. This way, it will show you all the sales recorded in your account. Then customize it to filter the Sales Receipt transaction.

Here's how:

  1. From the Sales Report page, click on Customize button.
  2. Click the Filter dropdown.
  3. Tick the checkbox for the Transaction Type.
  4. Hit the dropdown after the box.
  5. Choose Sales Receipt.
  6. Click Run Report.

Once done, you can save the report customization for future use. This way, you don't have to repeat the steps if you need the same report. Check this article for your reference: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have additional questions about running reports. I'll be around to help you.
