the 1099 for contractors is cash based, the only payments you need to report are those made by cash or check.
Using paypal, google pay, apple pay, etc etc is smart, that is what I do, and now I have no 1099's to prepare each year
It looks like you're filing the 1099 form, Enjoli Productions. I'd like to explain why you're unable to file it.
In addition to what Rustler provided, the 1099 MISC form will only include cash, check, EFT, ACH, and direct deposit payments. Once you paid your contractors through PayPal, it will not show on the report or form.
You'll want to edit the transaction, then use a different payment method like cash or EFT. Or, you'll have to create a check or expense instead, then delete the PayPal transaction.
I'll share the article for more details about why some contractors are missing from the 1099 vendors list.

HI! New LLC owner here as well---
Thanks for the info so far. I have to pay a contractor around $8k and need to show the transaction in my QB so I don't pay taxes on that amount (correct!?) Can I just "create an expense" in QB to account for the money transfer through a PayPal payment?
Thanks so much. I am a designer/ artist-- NOT an accountant :)
