How can I change the "mail body" on a reminder email?

Let me guide you on how to change or add the email message sent as a reminder email, infinitypoolscf-.

Editing the mail body sent with invoices can be done on your Accounts and settings page. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Accounts and settings.
  2. Select Sales on the left menu.
  3. Click the pencil icon under the Messages section to edit the email message.

  4. Hit Save and Done.

You can also learn how to email invoices to your customers using your mobile. I've attached this article for your guide: Email Estimates, Invoices, and Sales Receipts To Customers Using QuickBooks Online For Mobile.

On the other hand, QuickBooks Online (QBO) lets you customize the appearance and layout of your sales forms so you can provide the information you need most. To ensure you're doing it correctly, go through this article for more details: Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Drop a comment below if you need anything else about invoices or email bodies. I'll surely be right here if you need help.

How can I change the "mail body" on a reminder email?

Hi there, I have changed the text in the email body of the reminder, as well as on my invoice itself. However, I cannot figure out how/where to change the text under the payment link as shown on the right of the screen shot.

Thank you!

We ensure that QuickBooks Online users utilize the software without experiencing challenges. QuickBooks Online allows you to set up automatic reminders that go out a few days before or after the due date. You also have the option to update payment instructions to know the details of the payment methods. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.

  2. Select the Sales menu.

How can I change the "mail body" on a reminder email?

hi! thanks for that. I am able and have previously done what you instructed- my question is regarding the text here circled in pink--- when I go to send an invoice reminder, this is still showing up in the email preview area under the payment link.

How can I change the "mail body" on a reminder email?

Hi there, @cwrightdvm. I appreciate you for keeping us updated. Allow me to join the thread and help you sort things out so you can seamlessly change the Payment instructions when sending invoice reminders in QuickBooks Online.

The suggestions provided by my colleague SirielJeaB should let you edit your desired information. I've also tried the steps, and everything worked fine on my end.

You're likely having a corrupted file cache stored in your browser reason for the instructions to still show up in the email preview area under the payment link. I recommend performing some basic troubleshooting procedures to check if you're experiencing a web-related problem.

Let's start by opening your QuickBooks Online account on a private page or incognito. This mode won't save any browsing history. Here are the shortcut keys to open it:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you're able to proceed with ease, then you'll have to clear your browser cache regularly. This avoids strange behavior in your browser. Otherwise, use another compatible web page for the best experience when using QBO.

I'm also adding this extra module about handling payments: Receive and record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Please let us know if this goes so we can reply as soon as possible. We're here to guide you through if you have any more concerns about invoices or QuickBooks in general. Keep safe.
