That how desktop works. In QBO you can copy/paste adjacent fields ie. the whole row
How do you copy an entire row in QBO?
Hi there, @GBCFO.
I am here to assist you on how to export or copy row in (QBO) QuickBooks Online.
If you are referring to copy transactions in Banking, you can export this to excel. Here’s how:
1.Go to Banking tab, click Banking
2.Beside the Gear icon, click Export to Excel.
Then, system will automatically download the file.
You can refer to this link to export report, list and other data from QuickBooks Online.
If you want to copy particular transaction like expense, estimate and invoice, you can also do this:
1.Go to Expense.
2.On the right side, click the Drop down arrow you can see options like copy, delete or void.
3.Then, tick Copy.
If you need to export non-posting transaction and attachments, here’s the link.
Please let me know if you have any problems along the way. I'm always willing to assist you. Have a wonderful day!
I just want to copy 1 line of my invoice and use it again multiple time swithin the invoice.
This was easy and took 2 seconds in desktop.
I shouldn't have to individually type out each line.

DheraV, Are you serious ? You need more of an explination to that ? They want to copy and paste and entire line. Whats so complicated or difficult to underrstand? Do you even use these products. Your response is like a drone or a bot.
I copy each “description” area, but it doesn’t copy the service date . Just highlight, Carl c, then curl paste.
