Hello there, @laura151. I'm here to provide some information about customizing purchase orders in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The option to customize fields in QBO is unavailable. But we can edit the names of the fields and on which forms you want them to show. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Under Lists, select Custom fields.
- Find the custom field you want to edit and click Edit.
Moreover, you can click Add field if you want a new field in your forms. You can also make a field inactive if it isn't needed.
If the error persists, let's try accessing your QBO account via a private/incognito window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening a private/incognito window:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P
If it is working well, we'll have to go back to your normal browser and initiate a clear your browser cache to get rid of accumulated site data and junk files. This way, it'll prevent unusual behavior in the browser. If it persists, I'd suggest using another supported browser.
Furthermore, ensure that your Adobe Reader is updated.
Additionally, check out this guide article to learn how to create and use enhanced custom fields in QuickBooks Online Advanced.
Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns with customizing purchase orders. I'll be more than happy to assist you every step of the way. Take care!
