There's definitely a way to do that, boxesnearaz-gmai.

You can customize the Sales by Customer Detail report and add a column by the customer before exporting it to Excel in QuickBooks Online. I'd be glad to show you how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Open the Sales by Customer Detail report.
  3. On the report window, select Custom.
  4. Go to the small Gear icon.
  5. In the Columns section, check the Customer columns.
  6. Hit OK, then click the Excel or Export to Excel at the top.

I'm also adding this article to help track your sales and save your custom reports in QuickBooks Online: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted if you need additional assistance in managing your other reports. Wishing you all the best.

It's good to see you here, boxesnearaz-gmai.

I can walk you through running reports in QuickBooks and export them.

I'd like to clarify first if are you're referring to customer types or a sales report that lists all transactions made to that customer with the sales price used. This information will thoroughly help me give the detailed steps:

We're currently unable to assign a specific product and price to a customer. We generate reports using the sales transactions recorded. If you're referring to a sales report, you can use these steps on how to add the price and export it to Excel:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Find report by name search field, enter and select Sales by Customer Detail.
  3. By default, the Sales price used in the transaction and the product or service are already displayed, if you can see them, click the Customize button.
  4. Click the Rows/Columns section and click Change columns.
  5. Select the Product/Service, Sales Price, and other columns you want to add or remove from the report.
  6. Click Run report to refresh the page.
  7. To export, click the share or export icon at the upper-right of the report and select Export to Excel.

If you want to export your product or services, you can directly do so. Just go to the Sales menu and click Product and services. Above the ACTION column, click the share or export icon.

Feel free to use these articles to help you manage your inventory and reports:

Let me know if you have other questions and any additional info about the clarification I asked is much appreciated. Take care and thank you in advance!

Hello LeizylM,

Your instructions are out of date for QBO.  I was able to find the relevant info in the specific drop down box to create an Excel file.  The point being I should not have to guess at how to do simple processes because QBO's instructions are not updated correctly for each version.  The Excel file while useful takes a lot of data manipulation to create a meaningful report.
