How can I get QuickBooks get paid upfront service available for my business?

I can see the importance of having the Get Paid Upfront feature available to your business, @encbuildingco20. Let me provide you with some information about this.

Do you have an active subscription to QuickBooks Payments? If you do, that's good to know. Keep in mind that this feature requires active QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Payments subscriptions. If you don't, you can Sign up for QuickBooks Payments.

Additionally, eligibility is determined by various factors such as:

  • Your business history within QuickBooks.
  • Your maintenance of an active QuickBooks Payments subscription.
  • Transactions within your business bank accounts.
  • Your invoice history.
  • As the personal guarantor, your personal and business credit profiles.

Each application is evaluated individually, taking into account current guidelines and applicable laws, as we understand that every business is unique. You can apply for it through this article: Get Paid Upfront. Just scroll down then click on Apply today

Moreover, you can consider checking out this article as a workaround for recording received retainers or deposits from customers before performing any services: Record a retainer or deposit in QuickBooks Online

I'm always around to help if you have more questions about the Get Paid Upfront feature in QuickBooks. Simply leave a reply below and I'll provide you with the necessary solutions for your business needs.

How can I get QuickBooks get paid upfront service available for my business?

Hello, thank you for your reply. Yes, I am a current QuickBooks online subscriber and QuickBooks payments. However I’m not given the option to apply for the get paid upfront service, when I click on the get paid upfront tab it says it is currently not available for my business. How can I make it available?

Thanks for the additional information, @encbuildingco20. Let me provide some details about making your Get Paid Upfront feature available.

Users with an active QuickBooks subscription and QuickBooks Payments are eligible for this feature. Also, invoices can be qualified to use the Get Paid Upfront if they meet certain criteria, for example:

  • You sent the invoice using QuickBooks.
  • You have enough available credit remaining.
  • The invoice total is $258 or more.
  • The invoice isn't more than 30 days past due.

Furthermore, each advance is treated and documented as a separate loan according to its unique terms.

Seeing that you're already subscribed to these services and still have concerns accessing this feature, I recommend contacting our customer support team. They have the necessary tools and experience to investigate this issue thoroughly and provide you with the best possible solution.
