How can I pull up my customer list by name?

To pull up your customer list by name in QuickBooks, follow these steps:

  1. Login to QuickBooks: Log in to your QuickBooks account using your credentials.

  2. Access the Customer Center: Once logged in, navigate to the "Customers" or "Sales" section. The exact wording might vary depending on the version of QuickBooks you're using.

  3. Choose the Customer List: In the Customer section, you should see an option for "Customer Center" or "Customer List." Click on that option to access your customer list.

  4. Sort by Name: In the customer list, there should be a column header that says "Name" or "Customer Name." Click on this column header to sort the list by customer names in alphabetical order.

  5. View and Edit Customers: Now you should see your customer list sorted by name. You can scroll through the list to find the specific customer you're looking for. If you want to edit or view more details about a particular customer, you can usually click on their name or a link associated with their name.

Remember that the interface might slightly differ based on the version of QuickBooks you're using, as QuickBooks has different editions and online versions. If you can't find the exact options mentioned above, refer to the QuickBooks help documentation or support resources for your specific version.

How can I pull up my customer list by name?

Joining you here as well to offer my help with your question abut the customer list, TEE18.

I also want to ask if you are trying to sort the customer list by names or alphabeticallt? By default, the names in the Customers tab are automatically sorted alphabetically.

However, you can modify the arrangement by clicking the arrow located next to the Name header. This action will prompt the system to alter the presentation of the names in the list.
