Hello there, @kmurphy-alternat. Let show you how to stop a recurring invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO), so your client can no longer receives a new transaction from you.
You can either choose to delete the recurring invoice transaction or edit the template to Unscheduled or Reminder type to retain it. This will stop the system from sending recurring invoices to your client. To do this, here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Choose Recurring transactions.
- If you’d like to delete the recurring invoice template, click the drop-down arrow under the Action column and choose Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm.

- If you’d prefer to retain the template, click Edit under the Action column.

- Change the Type to Unscheduled or Reminder.
- Click Save template.
