How can I transfer an expense to a project? The expense is already under Expenses on QB Online

The expense from a vendor is categorized as Job Supplies, but I don't see where I can assign this to a project.

How can I transfer an expense to a project? The expense is already under Expenses on QB Online

Hi there, useralbertodferreiro.

Let me guide you on how to move your existing expense and assign it to a project in QuickBooks Online.

  1. Go to the Expenses menu.
  2. Find and open the transaction.
  3. Select the project from the Customer/Project drop-down menu. Do this for each expense item you want to tag. This isn’t the same as the payee for the expense.
  4. Click Save and close
