I've got a workaround to share so you can set up and create a Yes default for Billable in QuickBooks Time, DS662DAY.
Since you're not using the online payroll, we can remove or archive the No item option from the Billable custom fields. This way, your employees will be prompted to select Yes for every job or customer they clock into. To do this:
- In your QuickBooks Time account, go to Feature Add-ons from the left menu panel.
- Click on Custom Fields. Then, select the Billable field to edit.
- Click on the three-dot icon aligned from the No item option.
- Select Archive and click Save.
