How can we remove multiple paid invoices in one shot? We have multiple open invoices. Is there a button we can click to pay off all these open invoices at once?

Hi norma,

 

Let's get to each of your concern and get them sorted out.

 

For now, you cannot delete multiple paid invoices all at once. You'll have to delete them one at a time.

 

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Sales page.
  2. Click Invoices.
  3. Locate the payment transaction.
  4. Under the ACTION column, click on the drop-down menu of the transaction.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

You can receive a payment for multiple invoices for the same customer by creating a Receive Payment transaction.

 

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Plus icon.
  2. Under Customers, select Receive Payment.
  3. Select the name of the customer.
  4. Under Outstanding Transactions, select all the transactions.
  5. Click Save and close.

In creating this transaction, the amounts of each selected invoices will be summed up.

 

However, you'll need to receive invoice payments from multiple customers one customer at a time. You can follow the same steps I've shared above.

Now in November 2020, do  we have an option to delete multiple paid invoices in one shot?

Yes, you can delete multiple paid invoices. Let’s go to the Invoices list to accomplish this task.


Here’s how:

 

  1. On the left panel, tap the Sales menu to select Invoices.
  2. Click the Status drop-down to choose Paid and select Not Deposited or Deposited.batch delete.png
  3. Set the correct period in the Date drop-down.
  4. From the list, tick the boxes of the invoices you want to remove.
  5. Then, click the Batch actions drop-down and pick Delete.batch delete.1.png
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

However, if you want to delete paid invoices on the Sales Transactions page or the customers’ Transaction List, you’ll have to do it one at a time.
