How do categorize Capital Costs / Capital Expenses?
Hello Community,
I'm using QB Essentials and manage a rental property portfolio. We just finished performing major renovations on one of our properties and would like to categorize the bill as a Capital Cost or Expense; however there is no category in the chart of accounts.
How do categorize Capital Costs / Capital Expenses?

You could entry in other expense account and add some necesssary information as a capital expenditure or setup new capital expenditure account. Here i give you articel about how to create new account in QBO.
