How do edit multiple time entries - I need to change them to billable and correct class.? I am not changing dates/hours. I can do this one by one, but need to do many.

I am trying to make an invoice and need to change lots of older time entries.  I really don't want to click and open each one - that will take all day!

Thanks for getting in touch with the Community, valerie5.

I can certainly understand how an ability to edit multiple time entries at once could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear (⚙️) icon, then go to Feedback.
  2. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
  3. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera (📸) icon.
  4. Select Next.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

You also have the option of checking our QuickBooks App Store for apps which may be able to help you accomplish what you're looking to do.

For the time being, you can edit time entries individually:

  1. In your left navigation bar, go to Time, then Time entries.
  2. From the drop-down list, choose Customer, Employee, or Contractor and adjust your date range if necessary.
  3. Find and pick a customer, employee, or contractor to open their timesheets, locate one you want to update, then click its Edit option.
  4. Enter any necessary changes and select Save when you're finished.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with time entries which may come in handy moving forward: Track & manage time
