How do I change the name of a vendor?

You can update the Vendor's name by following these steps below:

 

  1. Go to Expenses on the left-hand menu, then Vendors.
  2. Select the Vendor's name to view their profile.
  3. Click on the Edit button at the top-right.
  4. Add the necessary info for your vendor's name.
  5. Hit Save.

How do I change the name of a vendor?

Hi AndrewCawood,

 

Let's ensure that the changes will sync into your QuickBooks Time account.

 

Login to your QB Time profile, then press F5 on your keyboard to refresh the page.

 

If the changes are still not syncing, log in to the account on an incognito window. It is the best place to isolate any browser-related issues.

 

You can use these keyboard keys to open one:

 

  • For Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • For Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • For Safari: Shift N

 

If you can see the changes, you may go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason why the changes didn't reflect.

 

You may also switch to a different supported browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge to identify the issue further.

When I go to expenses, there is no option to go to vendors.  Am I missing something?  Thank you.  Megan
