Welcome to the Community, @gamiller46. I've got some steps to help you correct the name of your account.
No worries, editing an account name from your Chart of Accounts won't remove your account's history. Here's how:
- Go to the Accounting menu, then choose Chart of Accounts.
- Select the account you want to change the name.
- Click the Account history drop-down, then choose Edit.
- Enter the correct name and click Save and Close.
