How do I get QuickBooks Self-Employed to send my tax information to TurboTax if I don't have a vehicle for which to track milage?

Good day, @bridgettpowers71.

You can still send your taxes to TurboTax even if you aren't using a vehicle to track mileage. When it's time to file, you can export your data directly to TurboTax Self-Employed.

Here's how to send your info to TurboTax Self-Employed and review everything after you send it.

First, review your tax checklist

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Select Home and click the Tax checklist link next to your profile⚙ icon.
  3. Choose a task on the list. This takes you to the task so you can finish reviewing your data.
  4. Finish the tasks on the tax checklist.

Once done, follow these steps to send your info to TurboTax

  1. Select Download reports and save them to your computer. You may need this info to check certain areas in TurboTax.
  2. Click Send to TurboTax.
  3. Review your TurboTax sign-in info. Make sure the email address is the one you use for TurboTax Self-Employed.
  4. When you're ready, select Send to TurboTax.

Please take note that some deductions and expenses don't show up in TurboTax Self-Employed the way you expect them to. You can check out this article for further details: Why some deductions don't automatically export to TurboTax Self-Employed.

Additionally, you can use your financial reports from QuickBooks Self-Employed to review the deductions that apply to you.

Let me know if you need further assistance with this. I'm always around to provide answers and clarifications to your questions. Have a great day ahead and take care.
