The option to turn off the convenience fee is unavailable when using QuickBooks Payments. Each state's laws are different and there are cases that a business that can charge customers a convenience fee for using a credit card. We want to ensure that you stay compliant with the terms of your merchant processing agreement. For more details, you can read Section 7 of INTUIT PAYMENTS MERCHANT AGREEMENT.

We just turned on the convenience fee not knowing it would charge on bank transfer payments as well. We do not want that fee to be applied to bank transfer payments on invoices. Why do we not have the option to turn off the convenience fee charge?
