How do I turn off convenience fees for invoice payments?

I recently turned on the convenience fee for card processing through my account settings, but I want to turn it off. In settings, it will not let me turn it off. Please help!

How do I turn off convenience fees for invoice payments?

Let me share some information about convenience fees for invoice payments, pbb2.

 

The option to turn off the convenience fee is unavailable when using QuickBooks Payments. Each state's laws are different and there are cases that a business that can charge customers a convenience fee for using a credit card. We want to ensure that you stay compliant with the terms of your merchant processing agreement. For more details, you can read Section 7 of INTUIT PAYMENTS MERCHANT AGREEMENT

How do I turn off convenience fees for invoice payments?

We just turned on the convenience fee not knowing it would charge on bank transfer payments as well.  We do not want that fee to be applied to bank transfer payments on invoices.  Why do we not have the option to turn off the convenience fee charge?
