Voiding an invoice and its payment is simple and easy. Let’s go to the customer’s Transaction List page to remove the entry and then open the account to delete the deposit.
Here's how:
- Tap the Sales menu on the left panel to choose Customers.
- Click on the client’s name to access the Transaction List page.
- Choose the invoice you’re working on and then click the Print drop-down to select Void.
- Press Yes to confirm the action.
To remove the payment:
- Go to the Accounting menu to select Chart of Accounts.
- From there, pick the account where the fund was deposited.
- Tap the View register link to see the list of transactions.
- Hover your mouse to the entry to expand the line and then hit the Delete button.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
