You can close a QuickBooks Online subscription anytime you want. Here's how:
1. Go to the Gear (⚙) icon and then Account and Settings.
2. Open the Billing and subscription tab.
3. Click on Cancel subscription.
4. Choose Continue to cancel.
5. Select Submit and cancel subscription.
6. Hit Got it.
After your account is closed, we'll hold onto your company data for up to a year. During this period, you can reactivate and pick up where you left off when you cancelled your account. If you don't reactivate within one year, your company data will no longer be kept on file in our systems.
