Hello yanchangbs,
Thank you for posting here in the Community. I'm here to assist you with your question about the Shipping Manager.
Right now, Intuit QuickBooks Shipping Manager is only available in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale. For more insights about the availability of this feature, you can visit the link I recommend:

Please feel free to get in touch with me here for any additional questions with using the Shipping Manager feature. The Community always has your back.
Thank you!
UPS integration and shipping manager is NOT available in Quickbooks Online. This fact should be prominently listed in your QBO sales information. The QBO product may be suitable for home business but is not ready for prime-time small business or above. Is there a third-party, work-around fix or patch that integrates with QB Online to provide the same features as Quickbooks Desktop Shipping Manager w/ UPS FedEx integration?

Hi @AMDadmin,
What you said is true. Shipping Manager is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
What you can do is check our QuickBooks App Store and search for an alternative app that meets your shipping needs.
You can also keep an eye on The Community Blog page to see what new features are available.
Leave a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll gladly answer them for you.
No Shipping module in QBO - THAT should be either addressed in company details or fixed.
Finding out more and more this is set up more for an Amazon, Ebay or selling Stuffed Bunny's from your basement type business and is NOT really a tool (of lasting value) with a dedicated customer base and several dozen shipping needs.
All we get is look in apps or some other way of doing it instead of a great idea, maybe we can team up with stamps.com or other shipping expediters and other companies to integrate and grow the strength and power of QBO to enhance and assist our customers in the endeavors to be successful whilst helping future growth of Intuit.
Shaking my head....
Has the Shipping Manager capability been addressed for the 2020 QB online version?
Thank you.
Hi @suzyQ1,
Thank you for taking your time in posting a question here in the Community.
At this time, the QuickBooks Shipping Manager feature is exclusive to QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Desktop Point Of Sale.
I suggest checking the QuickBooks App Store and search for a 3rd party app that will enable you to have the same features as the Shipping Manager.
I also recommend you visit this page from time to time: The QuickBooks Blog . It lists the new features released for QuickBooks Online, every month.
If you have other queries, simply drop it in the comments below. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
For the time being, consider SS as the 3rd party shipping manager to intergate with QBO.

If you prefer using other 3rd party shipping manager app, you may integrate it with an inventory maangement app as the connector to QBO.
We got around the problem by using a program called "ShipStation" which imports our orders from our online store Ecwid Shipping Cart. It seamlessly integrates with USPS, FedEx, UPS, and others.
Then we use an app in QuickBooks online called "Synder" which imports all our orders from our online store into Quickbooks online as a "sales receipt".
Once you've got your orders in QuickBooks Online as a sales receipt you can use the QuickBooks online shipping manager if you prefer not to use Shipstation..
It's 2021 and Shipping Manager is STILL not available? Why is this an issue for such a ginormous company? I would be just as easy to integrate. Is there even a plan to add it. This is very frustrating to small businesses want to create everything together.
You mention using the "Quickbooks online shipping manager"....there is no shipping manager option in QBO...can you please provide more detail on what you're referring to? Thanks!
My sales person said UPS is integrated. Big lie!!! She then follows up with a link to how to ship packing slips. Really???? This is their solution? QBO at first glance seems like a piece of junk.
Is this in the works? Whats the best way to handle this with an API?
Chiming in to answer your question about the shipping manager in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @JayBlake.
Currently, accessing the shipping manager feature is unavailable in QBO as it is exclusive to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
I recommend looking through the QuickBooks App Store for a 3rd party app that has the same features as the Shipping Manager with an API. Rest assured that our product developers are always open to suggestions to improve our products and are able to meet our customers’ business needs. That said, I suggest you reach out to our developers regarding the shipping manager feature. By clicking this link.
Here’s how you can post your concern on the Intuit Developer website.
You can also check the QuickBooks Blog to see what new features are available.

This is an embarrassing disgrace!!! Intuit had had 4 years to address this! Does anyone else remember when they force sold all of us QuickBooks online then when we all hated it, they told us our data can’t be switched back? Then they don’t ever even try to assist people paying monthly memberships???? This is an absolute joke. Membership costs have raised every year but they have not repaired or added any support. I am grossly unhappy switching from desktop to this overpriced, lagging, error ridden version of their rom heavy alternative. Luckily there are other companies that have similar options with better features for less money
I’m confused what company qbo was made for???? Maybe a street vendor?? It has no functionality or features as simple as shipping integration??? This is a laughable joke. I’ll most likely be leaving this year due to all the problems and customer service being a 4 hour hold time away
yeah this is pretty lame. If I could ditch quickbooks I would, even for 2x the price, it's just missing basic features such as shipping/tracking integration for the modern ecommerce world of business.
QB programmers are too lazy. They would rather you pay extra to a third party programmer. They have been doing that for a long time.
This reply was 4 years ago. What are you waiting on!!!!!!! You're forcing Desktop version users to an incomplete software.
Not interested in a discount shipper. I already have great rates. Don't want to spend more money every month for something that was included in Desktop.
Sounds like it still isn't resolved. We made the switch within the last month and are so disappointed. We have been using quickbooks for over 15 years. Endless issues. The shipping or NON Shipping is just the cherry on top.
I'm assuming it will never be added because they make money off the apps and don't have to offer the support.
