Thank you! But, I do not have an attachments area on my invoices. Does this mean that I need to upgrade to a version that does?
Hello there, @4didelbugg.
Let me share additional information on how the invoice feature works.
The steps shared by my colleague, @MarsStephanieL, are for QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, and Advanced. Currently, the ability to add attachments to an invoice is not available in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Deciding whether to upgrade your subscription depends on what really suits your business and the tax form you're filling. You can visit this page to see the features available on each QuickBooks version: QuickBooks Comparison Chart.
Once you've decided to change your subscription, you can refer to this article for the step-by-step process in moving your data: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.
On the other hand, you can read through this article to learn more about how you can maximize the invoicing feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed:
You can always count on me if you have other questions about managing your invoices. I'm always here to help.
Don't upgrade, you will see the images you attach wont print with the invoice :(
It's crazy that they don't allow you to add photos to your invoice from the app for the amount of money that they charge monthly. I plan to use another service.
