How to do a inventory audit in Quickbooks Online

It's nice to have you here in the Community, @FloridaTractor. It's my priority to guide you on how to do an inventory audit in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can go through the Products and Services window to check the status of your items and their current quantities. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then click on Products and Services.
  3. Add the Qty on hand and other columns you want to display from the small gear icon.
  4. Start to review your items from there.

Alternatively, you can use your inventory reports from the Reports tab.

  1. Click on Reports, then run the Inventory Valuation Summary or Detail report.
  2. Make the necessary customization if needed.
  3. See your inventories from there.

I'm also adding this article to learn more about utilizing reports to see inventory status and performance: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.

If you want to reorder items that are running low or out of stock, check out this link as your guide: Reorder inventory or supplies from vendors.

Leave a reply in the comment section below if you have follow-up questions while reviewing your inventory in QuickBooks. I'm more than happy to help you again. Have a great weekend!
