You can set your payment terms to the Date Driven method in QuickBooks Desktop. This way, it would allow you to enter the day of the month that payment is required within the invoice due date. To do that:

This answer helped me find the terms list. But, there is no option to input the invoice as due the following month. Quick books only allows you to have the invoice due on a day of the same moth as invoiced. I need it to be set to be due on the 15th day of the following month.

The steps that were shared by colleague FateCandylaneT are exactly what you need to follow. The Date Driven feature allows you to set up terms on the day of the 15th of the month and not 25 days after the invoice date.

If the terms still don't apply to your invoices, I'd suggest running some troubleshooting steps. There might be an issue with your company file that's causing the Date Driven terms to be applied on a day of the same month as invoiced.
