I just looked at my 2019 FY numbers (which I had locked with a password) and realize a few have changed. Is there a way to create a report that identifies what transactions occurred in 2020, that used the password, and that changed 2019 account balances?
I have shared the password with a member of my staff and I believe that person does not understand what is occurring and the resulting issues.
Yes. Use the Audit Trail report and filter it for transactions dated 2019 (and perhaps before?) that were edited in 2020.
Can you be more specific about how to create this report. I have never done this.

The Audit Trail is a great report if you want to keep track of any changes to the entries in QuickBooks or see when they are created. I can guide you through the steps on how to pull up the report. Perform the steps below:

OK...
1. Start on the QB menu and pick Reports | Accountant & Taxes | Audit Trail.
2. Click the Customize Report button.
3. Add the Date filter and set it to 1/1/2019 to 12/31/2019.
4. Modify the Entered/Modified filter and enter 1/1/2020 to 12/31/2020.
5. Click OK to re-run the report.
