How to print a transaction report but not print the blank split transactions that are shown

Hi there, Dons2.

Thanks for joining the QuickBooks Community, you can customize the transaction report then print it out. Below I'm including an article and steps on both processes.

Printing process:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select the Inventory tab.
  3. Choose Physical Inventory Worksheet
  4. Click the Customize Report to make any changes.
  5. Tap the Print drop-down arrow and choose Report.
  6. You'll be routed to the Print Reports page. After creating some changes, click the Print button.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post here anytime. Thank you and have a lovely evening.

I’m sorry I wasn’t more clear, we are running QuickbooKs 2007. Unfortunately you’re formula will not work on 2007. Thanks

Hi, @Dons2.

The steps provided do not work on your QuickBooks 2007 since the version that you're using is no longer supported.

I recommend upgrading your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest version to have this feature.
