QuickBooks Online has various ways of importing bulk transactions. One of these options is to import an Excel file, but this is currently limited to deposits, checks, Customers, Vendors, Accounts, Products and Services, and Bank Data.
Integrating with a third-party application that supports importing the journal entries is the workaround that we offer.
While we don't have this option, I will take note of your experience and forward this to our product developers. Our engineers make improvements in QuickBooks Online by listening to our customers' suggestions and comments. They'll evaluate this idea and put it into consideration for future updates.
Meanwhile, I recommend checking our QuickBooks Blog in your free time. You'll get updated of the newly released features.

I want to upload an Excel spreadsheet with revenue figures for 230 clients to a journal entry in Quick Books Online. How do I do this?
Welcome to this thread, @JRDAY. At the moment, importing journal entries to QuickBooks is unavailable. However, you can use a 3rd party app that integrates with QBO.
Shouldn't you desire to use any app, you can manually enter the journal entry transactions and enter all the necessary details.
Meanwhile, you can also check our blog site to know the latest features and product updates. Here's the link: The QuickBooks Blog.

Utilize the importer tool as I mentioned earlier.
