Buy nowHi, @sshort7.
I’d be happy to share some troubleshooting steps about your missing data in QuickBooks Online.
After you connect your bank and credit card accounts, QuickBooks automatically downloads the latest transactions and tries to match them with transactions you've already entered into QuickBooks.
If you can’t find those transactions, I recommend clearing your cache browser. Unexpected behaviors or errors in QBO are usually caused by the stored files in your browser. If the cache is holding too much data, it can affect the browsing performance of the currently opened sites like QBO.
You can use this article to clear the cache of your default browser: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
I’ve also added an article for your additional reading on how to match and categorize a bank transaction: Categorize and match online bank transactions.
Keep me posted on how it goes. I'll be on standby if you need anything else.
Hi, I am having this same issue but with QuickBooks Desktop. Was there ever a resolution?
I want to get this issue fix as soon as possible, @HeatherRose.
Allow me to share with you some steps on how to get around this issue. I recommend running the Verify Rebuild utility tool. This tool scans your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software and self-resolves the issues within your company file. Here’s how:

To Rebuild:
You can also see this article for more details: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Support team. They have the tools to check your account in a secure environment and investigate the root cause of this.
In the meantime, you’ll want to open the transaction and manually copy the description in the memo filed. This way, the information will show in your register. I’ve added a screenshot below for your visual reference.
Let me also add this article that you can use for additional guidance when you’re ready to reconcile your accounts in the future: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.
I’ll be around if you have any follow-up questions or clarifications. You’re always welcome to share them with me. Keep safe and have a good one!
