I'm glad you posted your concern here in the Community, Ashley.

I'll share information that could help you start over in QuickBooks Online.

You can purge your data if you need to start over if you're a new customer. However, you need to create a new company if you've used QuickBooks for a while already.

To begin with, please remember the following:

  • Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin.
  • This process will only delete data for one company.
  • It will also purge imported data from QuickBooks Time.
  • You can reuse current lists after starting over.
  • Don't use this process to start over if you have a QuickBooks Online Accountant. With this, import a blank QuickBooks Desktop file.

After that, follow the appropriate steps in this article depending on whether your books are 60 days old and older or less than 60 days old: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, you might want to review this resource to help you manage your company settings to start using the program: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to update us in the thread if you have additional questions when staring over your company or other related concerns in QuickBooks Online. We're always here to lend a hand.
