I am trying to create a customer statement and the customer's name starts with U. The Create Statements tab only displays through the T's and there's no other tabs...

where are the rest of my customers U-Z? Is there a filter I don't see?

Thank you for posting in the Community, @johnl3.

Allow me to help share some possible solutions to see all your customers for you to create statements.

To start, let's review the Customers list by showing all the active and inactive customers.

Here's how:

  1. In the left menu, click Sales.
  2. Go to the Customers tab.
  3. Click the mini Gear icon.
  4. Check the Include inactive box.

From there, you'll see a deleted label for inactive customers. Check if the customers U-Z are tag as inactive. If they are, activate them by clicking Make active on the Action column to show them back in the customers' list. For more information about this, see this article: Add and manage customers in QuickBooks Online.

After that, try to create a statement again.

I'd also appreciate it if you can update me on how it goes. I'll be here if there's anything else you need. Have a great day.

My customers starting with U-Z are not inactive. They are not displaying on the create statements page. Any other ideas?

Thanks for following up with the Community, johnl3. I appreciate you confirming your U-Z customers aren't inactive.

Since they're not displaying on the statement creation screen, I'd recommend checking your browser. It's possible this could have sometime to do with temporary internet files. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes they can cause issues when viewing certain webpages. You can open a private window and check to see if they show up.

Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If you're able to see your U-Z clients, it's safe to say the browser's causing this problem. It can be fixed by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.

In the event you're still not seeing them displayed, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

They can be reached while signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Help (?) icon.
  2. Choose Contact Us.
  3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.
  4. Select Start messaging or Get a call.
