Hello there, @tarasellslv-gmai. Being able to create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) without problem is my priority. I'm here to provide steps to fix the blank screen issue.
Thanks for providing details of your concern. Let me head over and discuss details on how to resolve this.
When you encounter a page that does not fully load in QBSE, it may be caused by a browser issue. There are times that it is full of frequently accessed pages that result in odd behaviors. To verify, I recommend accessing your account using an incognito browser. This is a private mode that prevents storing search history and will give you a clean slate. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:
Once signed in, create an invoice again.
If you're able to do this, let's clear your browser's cache to eliminate old files and refresh the background process. These speed up the loading of web pages but sometimes get corrupted which results in errors. If the same thing happens, I recommend opening your QBSE account using another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
Please let me know updates on how this goes. If you have additional questions about creating an invoice in QBSE, feel free to add a reply below. I'm always around to lend a hand. Have a great week ahead and take care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to offer suggestions. I have tried everything you mentioned, and still - the invoice page is blank, and not loading! PANIC.
I cleared cache, and cookies, etc -- restarted my computer, still doing the same thing. Opened a different browser - same thing.
Any other suggestions?
What a day you've had, @tarasellslv-gmai. I can see that you did everything you could. I've come here again to share information about creating invoice issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
I appreciate you providing additional details of your concern. Currently, there's an ongoing investigation about getting a blank page when attempting to create, view, or edit an invoice in QBSE. Rest assured that our product engineers are diligently working to resolve this as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you'll want to ensure that you access your account using a supported browser such as Google Chrome. This will prevent unexpected errors when using the program.
I also recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team to add you to the list of the affected users. Once your account is linked to the investigation, you'll be notified of any updates about this via email.
Please let me know how the interaction with the support goes. If you have more questions about creating invoices or any other QuickBooks concerns, feel free to post a reply below. I'm always around ready to lend a hand. Take care.
I am at my wits end. I STILL cannot access to create or edit the invoices. I have been on the phone with customer care, and have been told they were to fix my account issues over a week ago. I have tried every suggestion in your post, and re-setting new passwords, etc, etc Nothing is allowing that function to work.
Any other help available?
