Thanks for checking in with us. Let me guide you on how to enter your deposits and expenses in your account, usersharon-francis.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), a General Ledger shows a list of transactions from all accounts for a specific date range. This includes asset accounts such as Cash, Accounts Receivable, Equity, and Undeposited Funds.
To show the deposits and expenses, we need to enter them manually in QBO.
Here's how you can record the deposits:
- Click the + New Plus icon.
- Select Bank Deposit under Other.
- In the Account drop-down, choose the bank account where you want to deposit the amount.
- Go to the Add funds to this deposit section.
- Select the customer from the Received From drop-down.
- Choose the appropriate account from the drop-down.
- Enter the necessary information and the amount.
- Press Save and close.

Then, enter the expenses in your account:

- In the Payee field, choose a vendor.
- Select the Payment account to which to credit this expense.
